Our Scout II Intermediate Steering Shaft Conversion Kit is the answer to your worn steering shaft component woes. We have designed a kit that, unlike other companies, allowing for slip in the shaft.  The slip will prevent destruction of the bearings and input shaft seal of your steering gear box.  When your Scout flexes, even just going in and out of driveways at an angle, your steering column will pull and push on the input shaft of the steering box and destroy the input bearings and seal of your VERY Expensive Steering Box. This is why the factory used such a floppy (Rag Joint) in the column to begin with. Our Intermediate Shaft gives you the tight side to side feel you are looking for without damaging your Steering box in the process.
