We designed our X-Duty Scout Lifted Shackles to finish a beautiful SOA, and not let an imperfect shackle destroy it. So we designed our X-Duty Shackles. If there is a need, then D and C Extreme will fill it. One problem we kept running into was the over-all lack of options for Scout suspension parts. Lets face it, stock Scout shackles are a joke. 1/4″ floppy pieces of metal that really don’t do the job. Most of the time, due to their width, they’ll cut into the sides of your bushings (new or not) and/or severely shorten the tight feel of your new suspension lift.

Our X-Duty Scout Lifted Shackles are tough. They are machined out of  3/8″ x 2″ Cold Rolled Bar stock. We built them 2″ wide so that your new spring and shackle bushings would ride the way they were designed… on the shoulders. This feature not only keeps the bushings from being torn apart, but it also dramatically improves service life and keeps the ‘tight’ feeling in your suspension. All X-Duty shackles come with Grade 8 hardware and a bolt-in center spacer/reinforcement to insure strength and proper alignment. By making our shackles bolt-together, we’ve insured easy installation and complete re-buildability.

Note: X-Duty Shackles are sold in pairs. That is one axle’s worth. The Shackles price includes all new 3/8″ Shackle sides, bolt-in spacer bar, 7/16″ Grade 8 bolts, flat washers and Grade C Lock Nuts.  5″ eye-to-eye (which is 2″ over stock – 1″ LIFT)
