[threecol_two]As we said, we couldn’t mount the Rock Sliders until after the muffler work was done. Truth be known, we could have, but that would have made running the exhaust pretty darn difficult. So we called up Wayne (owner of Anthony’s Towing) and got his big IH to tow our little IH to our favorite muffler shop!
When you’re in Colorado Springs, and you want a good muffler or exhaust job, there is only one place to go. Muffler Master’s off Filmore and Stone. These guys do it all, from super cherry Hot Rod’s, muscle cars, RVs, Euro-Sport imports, even a 4×4 or two. So you can bet Mike and Sam (the head honcho’s) always get first dibs on all my exhaust work. In fact, now that we think of it, we don’t know a single IH we’ve owned that didn’t get something from them (except my first that is!). Here is a sweet little ride that was in the shop when we pulled in with P3.
Man that car is clean! Looks to me like they have do a little of it all, wouldn’t you say? While P3 was on the rack, we couldn’t help but take a few pictures of the underside, here’s our favorite.
When Sam and Mike were done with P3 we went over to take a look. Just as before they did a real top notch job, exactly as requested. They even found and mounted a perfect size turbo-muffler for right between the Rock Slider mounts. Great job guys, thanks!
It was time to take P3 back to the shop for some undercoating and Rock Slider installation!
Now things are really coming together!
