D and C Extreme’s Early Bronco Evolution Cage kit has very clean lines and maximizes head room.
Form and Function
Our Early Bronco roll cage kits are not just another “kit” made of some thin tube and bent to “generic” (read ‘intrusive’) measurements with a so-so bender. We’ve taken our time and specifically designed this kit to provide you with as much space and comfort as possible. Each tube is quality Mild Steel or D.O.M. bent to perfection with a true Hydraulic Mandrel bender (No dangerous ‘crushed’ bends). We even designed them in an early Bronco to insure a proper and snug fit every time! Will it fit in a Stock early Bronco hard top? OF COURSE! We also take the time and pre-notch all the vital joints! Pre-notching the joints with a quality hole saw makes installation and welding a snap!
All New From the Start
From the front section to the rear spreaders, our early Bronco roll cage kit is brand new from the start. The problem we’ve experienced with older Bronco roll cage kits is that they are made to weld to the existing factory roll bar. Although the factory roll bar is a strong unit, it is considerably narrower than our main hoop. By making our main hoop wider than a factory bar, we’ve literally increased the amount of head room in the front section of the cage. That means you’re less likely to bang your head during turbulent rides. We also extend our rear spreaders to give the rear passengers additional (and much needed) protection.

We have also gone to great lengths to make sure that all needed/useful accessories are completely operational after the kits are installed. D and C Extreme’s Early Bronco roll cage kit, properly installed, allow you comfortable use of your window cranks, headlight switch, glove box, parking brake pedal, high-beam switch, and every other dash-mounted switch.

All early Bronco roll cage kits are made from quality 2″ x 1/8″ (wall) Hot Rolled Electric Welded (HREW) tube. We buy the tube in full 20′ lengths and cut each piece to precise measurements. We also offer 2″ Drawn Over Mandrel (DOM) tube for the competition minded wheeler.

Drawn Over Mandrel Tube:
Drawn Over Mandrel (DOM) tube is known for its superior strength. If you don’t want anything but the VERY best in materials, we’d be happy to construct your cage out of some Certified DOM tube. This tube is so strong, its a standard for most on and off-road racing circuits (Note: its not usually required in most 4×4/Rock Crawling Competitions).
