1980 Scout II
“Rick’s Hawk” project has been given the name “Road Trip” because this was the last big project that Rick, his brother and their father worked on. In fact, they traveled out to California from Colorado together to pick up this Scout II up.
The last several years Ricks Hawk has been in a garage under a tarp. Now, we all know that the most common feature on a Scout is…you guessed it…rust. Well, Hawk came to us with no rust. None. It is the cleanest Scout this shop has ever seen. And that is saying something!
We are going to be doing a complete frame restoration
Swaping out 346 to a 195
After that we will see where it goes! What we do know for certain is that Hawk will driver better than the family ever expected.
