Meet Nate, he's just that kind of guy. After several full-size 4x4s fell apart ~ or had something go catastrophically wrong ~ it was time for something different. Something smaller, and tough. Jeeps were out since they can't fit more than a guy and a dog. Yet, at the same time, full size rigs were too big and seemed to get a gross amount of body damage at every turn. The search is on. Something smaller than a full-size, but bigger than a Jeep.

Finally, Nate settled on a Scout. These things are built like rocks, come with some of the best *hardware* (for the time) and are simple ~ and old enough ~ to be built to face the challenges Nate can dish out. So after a year searching for the perfect Scout, we were introduced and the rest ~ well you'll see.
